Comfortable room a... read more I actually stayed here overnight during a ski safari of the Dolomites, we also ate dinner here. Staff were very helpful. Warm, welcoming bar. Comfortable room and ensuite. The 'star ' though are the views that you get from the refugio.

We spent a whol... read more We stayed here for two nights while hiking the Alta Via 2. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food amazing, and our waiter was very good. We spent a whole day resting and admiring the views from the balcony, savouring the food, and enjoying the peaceful location. This is a must visit place for those looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay.

Unlike some rifugio... read more This rifugio is superbly situated, with a wonderful view. We sat on a sunlit terrace to enjoy a welcome beer after a long hike on a hot day. Unlike some rifugios, it was neither crowded nor touristy. We enjoyed a tranquil hour watching a local school group tumble and play in the meadow, watched over by nuns quite enchanting. If you only go to one rifugio in this area, make it this one.

Off the beaten path and a bit hard to find, but certainly worth the trek for us.

Got seated and waited 15 minutes to order food before another lady told us it's reserved and we need to leave, even though they had plenty seats available. PS: adding a comment after the owner response. One member of the staff asked if we are going to have food when we were at the table, so nothing was mentioned that it's reserved without any signs. Another member of the staff was extremely rude later, it seems that owner can't even acknowledge that. That was terrible experience that ruined the mood for us

The manager gave me a free grappa after dinner, and when he discovered my friend was pregnant, he gave her a gift of a jar of apricot jam. Just really thoughtful. Thanks for a great stay friends

The cake with fresh ricotta cream and raisins was delicious: the cake itself was fluffy and light, and the ricotta filling was creamy and melt-in-your mouth smooth. The service was efficient, however, the cakes are quite pricey at 6€ a piece.
