Wow! Wow! Wow! Never would have though such an amazing bakery would be hiding in plain sight. When you enter everything is open air so you can see the workers in the back as they are prepping and getting food ready for the next day. Everything is hand made. We ordered 2 corned beef cabbage dinners on March 16, 2024, the day before St. Patrick's Day, and they were the Worst Meals we have ever had. The corned beef was tough as shoe leather, and neither the carrots or the few pieces of potatoes that were included were even cooked. Hard as rocks. Terrible. Never again. We stopped by the booth today from out of town and LOVED everything we picked up!
We stopped in the market on a day trip to Cleveland. Folks, if you are passing through you absolutely MUST stop just for Reilly's. We bought an assortment of things to take home with us- meat pie, Shepards pie, roast beef pasty, and some lemon blueberry scones. Everything was an absolute hit! The pastry is so flakey and perfect, the fillings were flavorful and high quality, and the scones were tender and fresh. The woman at the counter was so friendly, too! I'm sad we aren't locals but will be sure to visit again if we find ourselves in Cleveland!
The Scottish meat pies and fern cakes bring me back to the happiest of childhood memories enjoying these foods with my sister. Thank you!
Simply put, YUM. Absolutely yes. Got the tuna melt with onion added and cheddar cheese and also a potato cheese and onion pastie.. the flaky dough oh my God. I wanted to order and try everything. I'm so happy I tried this place. Had half the tuna melt sandwich and I'm so full. It's PACKED.
The scones are tasty. They have several options for their pasties, it was difficult to decide which I want. The pastry it was in was amazing. I will go back. I'm looking forward to trying the sausage roll. I couldn't refuse one of their giant chocolate chip cookies. Worth every little calorie in it. So glad I found this bakery! Scones like these are hard to find. I'll have to get their soda bread next time.
