OK/ mediocre Indian food; extra star for generous portions. We had: Vegetable Curry in house special curry sauce rated a 2 1/2 (of 5). The sauce was nowhere close to my concept of 'special. ' Navratan Shahi Korma rated a 3 1/2. Portions were substantial and both dishes came with rice.
This is where my family goes when we want to have an out of this world delicious comforting meal! They can either dial down the heat for American palates or if you ask for the full experience, you will get it!! Living life fully means eating a meal from Tandoor India.
We absolutely love eating here. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. I can honestly say I have yet to have a bad experience eating there. Any minor issue they have handled immediately and with grace. I can’t recommend them enough.
You can buy jarred sauce from the grocery store that is better than here. It is nice to have a tandoor but I don't think the naan ever went in to it. If you want to know my current Gold standard for good Indian food is Mt Washington Pizza in Mt Washington MD. Go there try it an tell me I'm wrong.
