We had California rolls and California rolls with cream cheese as an appetizer. Both were tasty. Our meals came with your typical iceberg lettuce/shredded carrots small salad and a small bowl of Miso Soup. Nothing special with either of those. I had shrimp-wrapped asparagus which was good, but I did have to remove the tails. It came with a side of rice—the meal was not a large portion but the price was good. My husband had Beef Yaki Udon. His was extremely flavorful and plenty of noodles. We live a good 45 minutes away, so we would definitely return if we were in the area again (I would get the Udon). Husband had a Sapporo beer, he liked it. I just drank water. Our meal was $52 plus tip.
Big Eye is one of my best kept secrets. My family always goes here for sushi and they never disappoint. Get the boat and try to save some room for the fried bananas.
