Gambinos Italian in Fairhope is my favorite of all restaurants in FH! I usually eat in the Wise Guys Piano Bar! Tammy served me this weekend and offered an excellent service. There is a good reason why I eat in the piano bar. Scott Morlock, who has played with Al Jarreau, Chicago and the Doobie Brothers, offers a music entertainment experience that I cannot find in other types of restaurant bars in the south. Scott is excellent! The Gambino family offers a very nice culinary experience with a friendly and warm atmosphere! I recommend Gambinos!
Definitely worth the visit. Great service, incredible food, the breadsticks are Awesome!! Atmosphere was great and a lot of history has graced the doors as well. Definitely recommend!!
Service was fast and despite an almost full restaurant, Mary often checked us and our drinks were full. Calamari appetizer was fried for perfection, moreover the quality of the Calamari was surprisingly excellent, very soft and not on all rubbery or hard, absolutely perfect and fried a perfect golden color. The Marinara served with him was clearly homemade and if not sure I had deceived mouthwater. The house salad was so good that we almost ate everything, one of the best salads I've ever eaten. Even my wife has eaten a lot, and she's full of carnivores. I ordered the Auberginenparmergiano, perfect, I was more impressed by the craftsmanship of my wife's dish that was the chicken pesto. The mixture of basil and garlic in the pesto was perfectly married by Parmesan, impeccable. I am the first person to find reason to criticize and insulting food, and I have nary to say a crisp word! Will be back soon.
Food was fantastic. Wait staff was non stop and on point. Highly recommend!
This is a wonderful restaurant! Their salad dressing is incredibly reminiscent of my childhood in NY and they offer an amazing mix of classic pasta and divine seafood. We love the old brick wine cellar atmosphere and impeccable service! Thank you for some of our best meals and wonderful memories on special occasions.
