We had a wonderful time. The food was so delicious and the proportion was great . I couldn't eat everything, had to take the rest of it home. Our server Denny was the best. He was so attentive to our needs and never allowed our glasses to get empty. He made suggestions to some of the best dishes to try. What Brook Middleton doesn't like about Gambino's Italian Grill:
It's getting progressively worse. Today is the 3rd time in a row that we have ordered a ribeye and filet for our meals and the quality is that of Walmart meat. Italian dressing seemed to be the marinade of choice today, a little different from the abundance of pepper from the last time. This is a gem of a place and Mario the waiter is stellar! Lasagna and chicken parmesan are particularly good.
We were there for an event We had Brandon for service; he was amazing. The fries….and the breadsticks! Omg-osh! The breadsticks were amazing. The sirloin was ok. A lil dry. The wine selection was decent. Liked the salad. Looks like there’s a tiki bar set up on the patio outside.
Great food, large portions, best steaks on the East Bay coast. Live piano bar, Wednesday jazz night. Koi pond, outside dining. Great Italian restaurant. One block from the bluff and walking trail.

For almost $50 steaks, I’m done supporting businesses that are continuously cutting corners on quality. That’s over $300 for 3 experiences to be this bad. Someone is either being cheap when ordering meat, or cooking frozen steaks too soon. Either way, I won’t be back anytime soon.
We enjoyed the food and the service was really good. Did not like sitting in the booth by the kitchen because it’s such a busy place with servers going in and out the door and up and down the aisle no other complaints. Our server, his name was Russ and he was very attentive and professional. Definitely will come back just sit somewhere else.
