Came in to visit family who just moved to the area. Looked around and thought there was no way I was getting a good meal in this desolate area. I was wrong. This place serves pizza that is as good as any iconic pizza place in NYC if not better. what an amazing gem. These people in this area are so lucky to Have it. What Julian Ryan doesn't like about West End Pizza:
It was 6:37PM when I called to place an order because my grandmother is up from NYC and I was told that “we are all booked up for the evening and will not be taking anymore orders”…keep in mind this is 2+ hours before the business closes. I would understand if it was 30-60 mins before the restaurant closes, but 2.5 hours before closing time and you’re going to refuse paying customers? It’s a little ridiculous to me.... So good! I came here when visiting Fairfield for a few nights and the pizza was out of this world. They use all local organic ingredients and San Marzano tomatoes from Italy for all of their pizzas. You can chose your crust (deep dish, thin and crispy, fried, etc. . My boyfriend and I got a small crispy veggie pizza and a small gluten free meat lovers. They were both some of the best pizza we have had in a while. You can really taste how high quality it is. The gluten free crust must have been homemade because it was better than any other GF crust we have had! Definitely try it here.

Exceptional pizza with breathtaking views of the Vermont countryside! Just a short drive east of St. Albans City in Fairfield you will find this gem of a pizza, and more, restaurant. Our group opted for the extra large (it’s BIG! Meat Lovers with pepperoni, bacon, ground beef, spicy chorizo, Italian sausage, and ham. The crust is perfection: crispy, chewy, and pillowy edges. Their sauce is made with San Marzano tomatoes which balances so perfectly with the herbs. There’s also just the right amount of cheese. Heavenly!They’ve also started to serve beer, wine, and cider in their recently opened cozy pub. Also located in the pub is one table big enough for four people reservation recommended. In addition, there are multiple tables and sitting spots to dine alfresco to enjoy those beautiful views.Last, but not least, West End Pizza has very friendly staff! Answered our questions, checked on us at just the right intervals, and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back!
Absolutely amazing! We tried the sweet and spicy Vermonter and the Bee Sting, and both were outstanding. They were incredibly flavorful with perfect topping combinations!
Fantastic local pizza spot! We're thrilled to have discovered it just as we're moving in nearby. The pizza and ice cream were delicious, and the staff was wonderfully friendly!
