My first time here and I am impressed. Excellent service! The best Pad Thai I’ve ever had! Papaya Salad with shrimp was good, and there were 5 large shrimps! Very clean; they replace table cover after each customer! Good relaxing jazz music too! I will be back in a couple of days to try the mini fried ribs and the fried rice. What Ruth Castro Cubillo doesn't like about Rod-sap Thai Lao Kitchen:
**Service: 2**
**Atmosphere: 1**
The service was lacking, earning a score of 2. However, the atmosphere left much to be desired, resulting in a low score of 1. Overall, the experience was disappointing.
I really enjoy their citrus chicken, and the customer service is great. I've never had any issues until now, as they recently started charging $2 for extra sauce.
I enjoyed the shrimp tempura, citrus chicken, and an egg roll, all of which were absolutely delicious. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly, and the restaurant was impressively clean. I highly recommend visiting, especially if you're craving excellent Thai cuisine.
We enjoyed Kha Poon, Khao Piak, and fried rice, and everything was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was clean, and the waiter was very friendly. All the food was served on real dishes, which is uncommon at Vietnamese or Laotian restaurants. The prices were quite reasonable as well. I highly recommend this place!

The staff were extremely friendly as soon as we walked in, even though we came in less than an hour before closing time. It is very clearly a family run restaurant that you can feel good about supporting. Food was good, we both had dishes from the fried noodles section of the menu, the portions were a good size. This restaurant provides much better value with comparable or better food than other Thai restaurants in Fairfield. If you don't order a drink and don't have a huge appetite so you can get two meals out of a dish, the value could be as good as In N Out.
