Post Oak Barbecue Co. - Fairfield

The three-meat sampler was fantastic and plentiful enough for my wife and me to share. The kids really enjoyed the mac and cheese, cornbread, cheeseburger, and fries.

This is the worst restaurant I've eaten at in all of Fairfield. Buyer beware. Would strongly not recommend

Ordered bbq sampler with ribs and got brisket, not happy should have been called, husband said the brisket was very good though. The bbq is amazing!

The smoked wings were fantastic, but the mac and cheese left much to be desired. It was really bland, lacking in cheese, and I was surprised to see they used jumbo shells instead of a more traditional pasta. That combination just didn't work for me.

The barbecue sampler tray was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the smoked turkey as a nice variation. The smoked wings were decent, but not outstanding. They were quite large, meaty, and flavorful, but unfortunately, they lacked crispiness. When you have such large wings that aren't crispy, it can be a bit unappealing. If they were fried a little longer, they would have been fantastic.
