We had a wonderful experience all around. The ambiance and service was exceptional. The food was outstanding from apps to entrees to desserts. The Friday night scene was so fun. Every table was seated and the bar was full as well. We are repeat customers and will continue returning for as long as this high bar remains fulfilled. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Il Pellicano:
We were taken back to a small two top table situated in a galley between kitchen and bathrooms. It was a tight, uninteresting corner, immediately and adversely impacting the mood of the occasion. Our waitress demeanor coincided with the unattractive table location, as she approached us sans any smile or friendly greeting and instead operated matter of fact as though she was doing us a favor. We were very disappointed! The portions were small and the food was not hot. Several plates had to be sent back to be reheated. My portion of lobster was the size of a large shrimp! The prize of the meal was astronomical and I felt we were taken advantage of because it was New Year’s Eve. And we never were offered any champagne. We will never return to this restaurant and we will not recommend it to friends. We had dined there twice before for lunch and were very pleased. But last night was a real letdown.
