Was Josh M (Nubioso) at Flatlanda Diner a mag?
My wife and I love Flatlanda! It's the only place I can get a country fried steak for breakfast!The only caveat to that is that it's technically a lunch item. In the past, I've asked to just get the chicken fried steak with two eggs and toast and not getting the items listed on the lunch plate.Unfortunately, I would get charged the full lunch price plus the extra for the eggs and toast even though I didn't get the lu... Absolutely terrible customer service! I visited the restaurant and the owner insisted that a week-old package was still safe to eat, but it was as hard as a rock. The bagel was just as bad. We absolutely adore this place! The staff at Flatlanda feels like family, and the food is fantastic at very reasonable prices. We really missed it during the COVID shutdown. We often bring our granddaughter, and she's always welcomed warmly, just like any other child who visits. Jackie, Regan, and the entire team are truly wonderful!

I've visited this restaurant several times in the past, and whenever I'm in the area for a James Julia auction, I always make a point to stop by because the food is outstanding. The service is excellent as well. I live in Falmouth, so it's quite a drive to Fairfield; otherwise, I would go there much more often. It's the kind of diner where I genuinely feel at home. I enjoy striking up conversations with the people sitting next to me at the bar or at nearby tables. The customers are just as friendly as the staff!
