Went there Friday night with wife and her brother. Olivia was our waitress, she was professional, sweet and attentive! I had Ribeye, wife fried chicken and brother-in law pork chop. All entrees were fantastic! View all feedback.

Food was good not great. Fish needed more seasoning, steak was over cooked but liked glaze. Portion size could have been better. Drinks were just ok. Service was great. Very loud inside restaurant. View all feedback.

The Retreat is a peaceful gem on Lake Wateree. We came for brunch today. Redneck Benedict was excellent. And my husband said the Lakeside Breakfast was delicious with crispy Applewood bacon. We sat outside with our little dog. Our server kindly brought him water. It was our first outing of that sort with him, and the staff was so welcoming. We will be back without a doubt!
We have eaten here a handful of times recently and have been extremely pleased every time! Lauren took great care of us! We arrived by boat a few times recently and were seated promptly with great service! The restaurant has a great atmosphere right on the water! Our food has been outstanding! My husband is a huge fan of the Retreat Burger and I most recently just got Blackened Pumpkin Swordfish with a pumpkin beer and it was outstanding!! Highly recommend!
We love to come to the Retreat when we are staying at our lake house. It is more upscale than the other options on lake Wateree. The food is always good and we enjoy the atmosphere. Highly recommend!!
What a gem on the lake!! The food is chef inspired and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting and the service is amazing!! Can't wait to go back and enjoy this experience again!!
