Was Anonym at Tsunami Sushi a mag?
Had lunch at Tsunami Sushi, my fourth visit. Starting with a delicious miso soup. Next, a bento box with Korian style beef bulgogi, tempura of 4 pcs shrimp/potato slices with tentsuyu dipping sauce, 3 pieces sushi, white rice, and a crispy salad witha light ginger dressing. This was a bullet train through East Asian my friends, next stop – satisfaction! View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Tsunami Sushi:
We just tried this place for the first time because we were craving some sushi and we absolutely loved it. Great vegetarian options and the sushi was fresh and filling. I got the dynamite roll and the spicy tuna. My wife got the sweet potato roll x2and ate every one. Usually she saves one for me but not this time. Definitely recommend!! View all feedback.
I’ve been coming here with my husband and mother over the past few years. And tonight after having dinner with my whole family, I decided to leave this review and never come back again.I was judged based on my Asian look and the Korean lady came interrupt our conversation at 10:20pm making some very racist judgements after hearing we are Turkish. It was hard to get together with my whole family and have a nice dinner together, we were having a great time and have spent $200 for this dinner, I know it’s late but we were about to leave, but the dinner ended uncomfortably with the server lady’s words. Also, I speak and understand Korean, so I over heard the lady talking about our look with another Korean server lady.Servers in this restaurants are Asians but they need to be trained and watch their mouth.Food was okay, just another sushi place near home, but the service will be wonderful if some ladies can keep their mouth shut.
Went tonight (6/16/2023) for dinner. My partner said his veggie roll dinner combo was decent. The waitress did inform us that the miso soup has fish paste in it after he ordered the veggie roll dinner combo, which we really appreciated! I had an assortment of rolls (Vegas roll, Philly roll, and salmon skin roll) and they were of standard taste. The agedashi tofu was really good, but it does come served with dried bonito flakes so you'll need to request them to be omitted if you're sharing the appetizer with a vegetarian. Overall, it felt like a friendly neighborhood sushi spot and made for a pleasant Friday night dinner (I also like that they play Korean ballads). Also, we witnessed a birthday here. They paused on the ballads and loudly played happy birthday on the speakers. The waitresses then marched to the table with a bunch of disco lights and a tambourine. It was really theatrical and cute! The employees are really sweet.
The pleasant and low-key atmosphere made for a nice dining experience, and the service was courteous and attentive. I particularly liked the salmon lover roll. I will definitely come back here again to try some of their other options.Food: 5/5

I agree with everyone who claims this to be a local gem. Absolutely wonderful. Exceptional service and extremely fresh sushi. Their combinations are well thought out and flavorful. The presentation is masterful and I highly recommend the gyoza which isdone with a tempura and simply delicious.
