Koobala - Fairfax

I was really impressed with the quality of everything at this restaurant. I went with my friends to try their chicken sandwich, and let me tell you, you won't be able to resist coming back for more after you try it. I wish this place all the best and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

We visited this restaurant when it first opened and were not impressed by the food selection. However, we decided to give it another chance. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the service was good. The atmosphere was relaxed and laid-back. The Latin bowl was delicious with well-balanced seasoning. The fried eggplant was a tasty option for eggplant lovers. The spicy chicken sandwich was decent in taste, but it lacked the expected level of spiciness. The sauce poured over the sandwich made the bread soggy, which is more of a personal preference issue. I plan to try the regular chicken sandwich next time. Overall, the food was not a major concern, and the atmosphere was laid-back.

This place is underrated!!! It was quiet when we came every time. The food was always amazing. It’s warm and very generous portions! The menu is simple and the service was great! I just love this place so much. The rice and chicken are always perfectly cooked!

Visited Koobala today, the woman who took my order was very sweet and gave me recommendations and asked helpful questions. I got the original chicken sandwich with coleslaw along with a side of sweet potato fries. They were both very decent, the sandwich was eaten in minutes! The fries had good flavor, wish they were crispier however. The seating area is large with lots of seating, I came in to eat just after 1pm on a Thursday and there were almost no other customers. The seating area was my least favorite part, just too big and felt sparse, the soda machine is very loud and kind of downs out the music. Still, I'd recommend the chicken sandwich and the folks there are very nice!

Ever since my friends and I came here for the first time, we’ve been back atleast once every week. Food is as authentic as it gets and there is always great service. I have not had a single thing that was disappointing. Place is a sleeper and is sure to blow up soon.
