Nestled near Fair City Mall, Koobala offers a unique blend of Latin American, Mediterranean, and South Pacific cuisines. While many patrons rave about the flavorful chicken and enticing rice bowls, experiences can vary. Some have faced issues like missing rice in their dishes, highlighting the need for improved communication. However, the popularity of the famous fried chicken sandwich and generous portions of yucca have not gone unnoticed. Many guests appreciate the welcoming staff and clean, open kitchen. With its authentic flavors and potential for growth, Koobala is rapidly becoming a favorite among locals.

This restaurant is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, with extremely accommodating staff, amazing service, and a great atmosphere overall. The team running the restaurant is fantastic, and good service is just as important as good food. This place truly is a hidden gem. If you're looking for delicious Halal food, this is the spot for you. The food here is both healthy and tasty. I highly recommend it!

Stopped here after a quick haircut for the little one on a lark. If the picture attached says anything...my 6.5 y/o demolished a 1/4 chicken, corn on the cob, and pita with hummus. I tried the chicken sandwich and thought it was fantastic. The employee also noticed my daughter's teeth missing and brought some grilled corn and she ate that as well. I'll be back to try the bowls on a day I need leftovers the next day as they look huge and worth the money!

I was feeling hungry after a recent shopping trip at Fair City Mall and decided to stop by Chipotle when this place caught my eye. I hadn't heard of it before but the reviews were great so I ordered some lunch to go. The place is clean inside with anopen kitchen area, but it was pretty empty on a Sunday evening. The menu is small and focused which made picking my food easy I chose the Latin rice bowl and ordered a side of yucca. They gave 5 yucca fries in my order I'd prefer a higher price pointwith more fries. They're your standard frozen fries you can buy at the grocery store or restaurant depot, so I felt very mehabout it. It needed some seasoning or sauce. The rice bowl was very underwhelming. I can see how it might be popular with aparticular crowd I won't call out, but the flavor just wasn't there. It has a bed of mushy, overcooked plain white rice, withunseasoned straight from the can black beans and corn, topped with tortilla crisps, a smattering of cheese, and generous portionof chicken which had been sitting out too long and had gotten dry. There's a small drizzle of sauce on top and it comes with aside of sauce that still isn't enough. For $12, it needed more oomph. Definitely did not satisfy the Chipotle craving but youlive and you learn.

Someone told me the fried chicken sandwich here was awesome. They weren?t lying! Had the spicy version and loved the sauce and it was also great on the sweet potato fries (no upcharge). Staff were great and helpful explaining the menu. Definitely will beback to try the rice bowls and chicken maybe for the whole family. Can?t believe I hadn?t tried this place yet! Delicious.
