Excellent service and food. I think Tex-Mex really only gets so good, but this is probably the best place I have been to. The free chips and salsa were amazing. The give you two salsas, one cold and chunky (best salsa ever) and one warm and more watery, which I didn’t care for. We had the bacon wrapped shrimp and grilled steak burrito. Both were very good. What Max Senger A doesn't like about Guapo's:
This place has really gone down hill. A couple years ago it was one of my go-tos for places in the area. I haven’t been recently because of the prices but thought I would give it a try. We saw our waiter maybe twice. Our appetizers came after the entrees and were cold. The food was pretty bad too. My mom’s pancakes were burned and the steak tacos were cold and the steak was slimy and almost all fat. Really disappoint... View all feedback.

The main dining room is like a great hall with really high ceilings. They break out conga drums for happy birthday songs. Fun place to eat with good food and service.
Guapo's has a beautiful restaurant vibe with an extensive menu with almost every item seeming enticing. Experience an authentic Mexican style in a fun and open atmosphere. The food is exceptional and filled with flavor. The fajitas, enchiladas, and soup were a treat.
Went for dinner with my friend. It was a delicious and eventful dinner. Staffs were friendly and attentive. We went to celebrate my achievement, fun experience because they made me wearing the sombrero and sang for me. We had taquitos, passionfruit mojito, and a quails entree. Chips and queso too. We left the place full and happy!!!
I had never tried this place, and now I will definitely be back! Service was very prompt as soon as we were seated, we had chips and salsa and waters within seconds. Our server, Freddy, was great. I used to be fluent in Spanish and I’m trying to get back to it, so I asked him if I could practice while I ordered and he was so patient : The food was really good and very filling. I could only eat 2 of my tacos, they were so stuffed full! The salsa had a good flavor, but it was a weird consistency, most of it was just juice and then some huge chucks of tomato and onion floating in it. The margarita was delicious but be warned! If you get a grande, make sure someone else drives home! Holy tequila. As we finished our food though, the staff swept in so quickly to grab not only our plates, but also the chips and salsa and any other side plates on the table without asking. I had a whole plate of guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo that I hadn’t touched and wanted to take home with the chips but they grabbed it so fast and left. So maybe guard anything you want to take to go ; Other than that, great experience.
I ordered the tamales. It came with rice and beans. Overall the food was very good and will definitely come again. One thing is that the tamales were slightly overcooked, it did not detract from the taste, just the texture. The service was quick, efficient and friendly. Overall with the service, the food, and ambiance I give it 5 stars.
