I've visited this restaurant a few times and have tried something different each time. From the bulgogi to daegoo mae un tang, daegu mom tong jjim, and bullak jeongol, every dish has been incredibly flavorful, fresh, and delicious. The atmosphere is inviting, the service is excellent, and the food is served quickly. Every dish has been consistently fresh and authentic. I would rate it a perfect 11 out of 10!
The restaurant boasts a lovely location and inviting atmosphere. The food is decent and would be a great choice for those new to Korean cuisine. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5.
Wow… what a let down in quality of food served here. As it has been a while since i visited this place last, I had high hope when i visited for lunch. But the portion of food downsized significantly and quality declined. It seem the restaurant downsize the portion to save the cost, but the quality suffered. The typical side dishes smelled fishy and unable to eat if you know when they are. Not worth the money.
I was a bit iffy when seeing the place was mostly empty on a Sat evening, but wanted to give them a shot. Came on a Saturday evening. Food was not good compared to other Korean bbqs. The Kim chi small dishes were kinda weird.. one was a macaroni andcheese? Another is broccoli.. overpriced for what you're getting. Galbi is $44? Service horrible and what killed it. A bunchof ladies working but no one came to check on our table . Had to raise my hands a bunch of time, no one came. Luckily there wasthis one young gentleman who helped, he wasn't even a waiter either. He was only supposed to bring out the food and clean up,but ended up the only one helping us. I only wanted to leave the tip for him since no one else deserve it. Now I know whythey're mostly empty on Saturday evening. Will not come back. Stay away. And to the tall young gentleman that actually came tohelp after many hopeless times I tried to get the waiter's attention, thank you! They should make you a waiter instead
Not recommended. Not the same quality as the Korean BBQ there before. Receipt shows BBQ 21. Listed on the various ?Dining for Miles? sites at BBQ21. How we signage shows Mardang outside. Ordered Calamari Dumpling appetizers. Both were awful. Calamari was supposed to be in tempura batter but didn?t seem like it was. Not crispy. Dumplings weren?t good or crispy(they were fried, not steamed). They were out of Galbi. Ordered the spicy pork, bulgogi, and pork belly. Pork belly had noflavor bland. Bulgogi was good spicy pork was oily a but good. Reason for 1 star? Service was beyond awful and theyweren?t even full. We were 4 adults 2 small children. Asked for a table with grill they said only available for 4 people. We pointed out that there was a Korean family with 6 at one of the tables they let us finally have it. As for all theaccompaniments that come with Korean BBQ, small dishes of cabbage radish kimchi and when asked for more (there was literally 1piece of radish left in the dish) the server said ?you already have kimchi? yes, 1 piece of the 4 pieces that were broughtout for 6 people. Asked for other items things weren?t brought out. For having 3 meat dishes 6 people, only 5 pieces oflettuce were brought out. Had to ask multiple times for more lettuce as they didn?t seem to want to bring it out. Never gotthe Diet Coke I ordered 2 times. When the bill came, they added a 20% gratuity when I argued about it, they said since we have6 people, it?s automatic. I asked them to show me where it says that on the menu she said it?s there. I asked to be shown(if it was there, fine, I would have paid it). It wasn?t there. So I told her I?m not paying it. I still tipped (only about10% as the service was just so bad in retrospect, I feel like they didn?t deserve a tip at all but I get that tips usuallyget shared amongst other staff). This restaurant might be under different management than before but
