Great food and atmosphere. Smoked meats, sandwiches, milkshakes, and breakfast. Can't find anything more Americana. I suspect many detectives have openly discussed criminal investigations over a coffee here and many more will in the future.
My husband I love picking highly rated, randam diners. Very friendly, cozy restaurant. Had a huge menu. The food was plentiful of quality. I had the double club, honey had the french toast combo. He left nothing on his plate! We will be back.
This was our first visit, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was tasty and served in large portions. The pancakes were huge and incredibly fluffy! The brisket was flavorful, but the meatloaf stole the show for us—simply outstanding! Our waitress, Sarah, was fantastic—friendly, charming, and very attentive.
Suffice it to say, the diner food is amazing! Exactly what I need every few months. The corned beef hash, eggs over easy and a side of 1 giant pancake and endless cup of coffee. I wanted the sausage and gravy but I had no room left in my tummy. I'm aNavy veteran and Michelle made me feel like a VIP (in a very respectful way). This diner is ALL about gathering with friendsregardless of you politics and good food! They give back to their community and to Service members. Great family-fare BBQ, served by a classy family plus one really lovely waitress (see pic who is too shy (angelic? to give her name. Try the brisket (my daughter's choice with a delish milkshake on the side. The pulled pork is utterly to die for!Breakfast choices (served all day? are always freshly prepared and will revive your wearied soul. Owner John Wood takes pridein being a community-supporter, and his personable charitable character is apparent all throughout the diner. Sit outside underheaven on earth, just be wary of the smokers (meat smokers, lol! and the occasional noisy traffic. Inside is another worlditself, like a museum. Once you try this Fairfax institution, you will come again and again. Bring the family! ????????????????
