What G C doesn't like about Walley's Sports And Grill:
We arrived at the restaurant at 2:30 in the afternoon and found that there were only a few customers. Our server, an older woman, was polite and efficient, and our food arrived quickly. We ordered 2 drinks, 2 cups of soup, and a sandwich to share, which came to a total of $18. The white chicken chili soup was hot in temperature but lacked chicken, with plenty of beans and a decent broth. The flavor was good but it la... View all feedback.
Always a warm and friendly atmosphere. They have a good variety of entrées on the menu for all ages and taste. Service is a bit unpredictable. ..but always served with friendly smile. I think they are understaffed at times. Prices are very reasonable I wish them well.
"I want to share my experience at this bar, and honestly, I'm relieved it's closed down, along with its successor. The owners were truly awful individuals. I worked there as a waitress for a few months during one of the most challenging times in my life. I lost both of my grandmothers within weeks of each other—one I witnessed pass away, and for the other, I couldn’t even attend the funeral. They were aware of my situation. They even inquired about my grandmother during my visits to see her, and I broke down when they asked, knowing the news wasn't good. They were fully aware that I was going through a tough time. But that wasn't the worst part. The worst was when I had an anxiety attack while working, and Brian confronted me, yelling for me to explain what was wrong. If I ever wanted to join in a conversation, Shirley would dismiss me in a harsh tone, making it clear she didn’t want me involved with my coworkers. And the most frustrating part was being told daily to get my head out of my ass or risk being fired. I had just lost two incredibly important people in my life—of course I wasn’t fully present! I made mistakes while I was there, but my mental state was a mess, and I was grieving. Each week, I lost more weight due to the stress of both my losses and being yelled at constantly. One day, I reached a breaking point. I woke up feeling defeated and decided to quit. I walked in and resigned on the spot, then sat in my car and cried. It felt like such a relief not to have to brace myself for more shouting over something as simple as stepping away for 30 seconds to collect myself. The way they treated me still impacts me today. When I think of my grandmothers, all I can remember is the screaming I endured while I was grieving. To both of you, I have to say: you are terrible people."
I was just passing through and heard they have great burgers, but it seems to be closed. There’s no sign, and it looks empty inside. I recommend checking out Rowdy's instead for some tasty bar food and a cocktail.
I've visited this restaurant six times during my business trips to the area, and each experience has been enjoyable. The bar food is fantastic, and the service is reliable. Both the pork chop and steak dinners are exceptional.
We arrived at the restaurant at 2:30 PM and found it nearly empty. Our server, an older woman, was courteous and efficient, and our food was served promptly. We ordered two drinks, two cups of soup, and a sandwich to share, which came to a total of $18. The white chicken chili soup was served hot, but it had very little chicken; it was mostly beans with a decent broth. The flavor was enjoyable, but it lacked the creaminess typically expected in this type of soup. On the other hand, the club sandwich was quite delicious, featuring flavorful real bacon, turkey, ham, and cheese. The tomato could have been better, but that’s to be anticipated at this time of year. Overall, the meal was satisfactory but unremarkable—nothing particularly extraordinary.
