Was CALG RN at Kawali a mag?
I am delighted that I decided to visit this restaurant. I make it a point to support Filipino-owned businesses here in the USA whenever possible. I ordered Beef Caldereta, Giniling, Pansit, and Halo-Halo, along with two cups of rice and received two free cups of sinigang soup with my order. Our bill, including tip and tax, came to $45. The food was amazing and authentic. I don't have many opportunities to eat Filipino food where I live, so I always try to enjoy it when I can. This restaurant did not let me down. The fact that Lola runs the kitchen tells you all you need to know about how delicious the food is. So tasty!

We were the only customers in the restaurant at that time, which provided a quiet atmosphere that I enjoyed, giving me the feeling of being in a traditional Filipino eatery. I would definitely recommend this place. If I may make a suggestion, the pansit could use a bit more flavor and ingredients.

After just a few bites, my wife remarked that the food tasted like a meal at her Filipino grandfather's house. Memories of dishes she had almost forgotten flooded back, bringing tears to her eyes. I recommend opening your hearts and taste buds to this experience. Expect a variety of unique flavors and textures, along with familiar and delicious Asian and Hispanic dishes.
