During our visit to Fairbanks, we discovered a unique drive-thru Thai restaurant that we were eager to try. I must say, it was delicious! My wife ordered Pad Lard Na, and I went for Pad Kra Pao—both were excellent! The food was comparable to what we've found in major cities or even during our travels in Thailand. We'll definitely be back! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Thai Orchid Drive-thru:
One of the worst pad Thai I have ever had. Flavor was mediocre. Some of the chicken had gone off, and there were no veggies (no green onions even. after the second chunk of bad chicken that I had to spit out..... I was done. The portion was large and I would give them another chance , with reservations. View all feedback.
Thai orchideee is such a great local car ride thru. eat quickly out. Flavours are deep and complicated. it is really amazing that they make the food in such a small building! I have lived in fairbanks my whole life (where thai food is a great thing) and consider me as a Thai food expert, and this place is legit.
It's cheap, fast, AND tastes amazing. What more can you ask for?
These guys have DELICIOUS pad thai. I get mine with Tofu and it is hot and flavorful every time. I love that it's so close to home and I usually don't have to wait in line. Tofu pad thai is $10 here and the potions are large so its 100% worth it to me. Most of the time I get some and eat half for dinner and the other half for lunch the next day. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to grab a bite to eat after a long day at work.
Honestly my favorite place to get Thai! Prices for the entrees are unmatched. Best place to go to price to portion ratio plus my hubby just loves the flavors. They are generous with the spice
I like one particular dish from there. It has rice and steamed vegetables. It's weird because they don't even offer you soy sauce for the rice. I ask for sweet and sour sauce, and they charge 50 cents for a little container of it. So now I just buy a bottle of my own S S sauce and save money.
