I visited Little Owl Cafe to check out their Christmas bakery, and I was thrilled to find that they offer vegan baked goods. Although they were quite busy, I was able to get in and out quickly. The atmosphere is cozy, making it a great spot to relax with one of their coffees or teas. It’s a clean little cafe, perfect for reading or enjoying some quality time with a loved one. They have a wide variety of homemade desserts to choose from. I also appreciate that they sell their logo hoodies and gooseneck teapots, which are not easy to find in Fairbanks.

Before arriving in Fairbanks, I did some research on coffee spots and stumbled upon this hidden gem. Everything about this café deserves more than 10 stars! The woman who took our order was incredibly helpful in selecting the syrup for my cold brew. I opted for the house-made lavender honey, while my husband tried the vanilla; both were outstanding! My daughter and son-in-law ordered smoothies and couldn't stop praising them. Three of us had the Belgian waffle, and one person ordered a sandwich. The Belgian waffle was cooked to perfection—truly exceptional! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his sandwich and then happily finished the other half of my waffle. He loved every bite! Don't miss out on this wonderful place!

This café is truly a hidden gem in Fairbanks! The food is both delicious and affordable, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy, making it a nice place to relax. I really enjoyed their waffles, but I suspect there may be some inconsistency in their preparation. The first waffle I had was crispy and perfectly brown—absolutely fantastic! However, when I went back a few days later, my second waffle was pale and soft, which was rather disappointing. If I decide to order a waffle again, I will be sure to request the crispy, brown version. On the bright side, everything else I tried was quite good, including the “castaway” smoothie, kale salad, English muffin with an omelette inside, latte, and the chocolate-banana “mocha monkey” smoothie.

I have to start by saying that the staff here are incredibly professional and friendly! They are always ready to help and answer any questions you may have. The drink selection is extensive, ensuring there’s something for everyone. They also customize food and drinks to your liking. The kitchen offers a wide range of baked goods and meals; they really seem to do it all. The place is always bustling and busy, which is a testament to its popularity! I absolutely love everything about this spot, and their merchandise looks great too. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The place is very clean and well-organized. There's a charming little electric fireplace that you can sit in front of. They also offer a variety of delicious treats in addition to the usual coffee and fruit drinks.
