This restaurant is a vital part of the neighborhood, which I truly love calling home. I’m glad that not everyone is aware of this gem. It’s the best neighborhood to live in Fairbanks! Whether you walk, bike, ride a motorcycle, or drive, everything you need is within seven miles. You can enjoy the breathtaking wonders of Alaska while having all the modern conveniences, including a university that allows you to expand your interests and knowledge. I’ve lived in various places from coast to coast, and this community stands out to me.

I was picking up some beers for the game, but for some reason, my card got declined. This amazing guy pulled out his own card and bought the beers for me. That was the highlight of my day since I'm now enjoying a drink while dealing with the disappointment of my team. Here’s to the Packers for next year, and to the guy at the store—you’re awesome! I really appreciate what you did, and I hope you see this. I'll make sure to thank you in person the next time I come by. Cheers!

I... read more The management at this restaurant could use some improvement. One of the staff members has anger issues and often comes off as confrontational with customers. I brought this to the attention of the previous manager, but nothing changed, so I chose to leave. I'm only giving this place two stars because it could serve as a decent starting point for newcomers to Fairbanks who may not have the greatest work history. Consider it a stepping stone to better opportunities, as I did; otherwise, you might find yourself caught in a situation selling alcohol to intoxicated drivers.

I found myself stranded right outside their parking lot, and when I went inside to grab something to eat and drink, they kindly asked about my situation. After I explained what had happened, the exceptionally generous cashier offered to cover the cost of my soda and granola bar. This kind of hospitality exceeds even the highest standards of customer service. I later returned unexpectedly to repay her, and it felt wonderful to return her kindness. Thank you for reminding me that it's the little gestures that can truly make a difference in life!
