Jazz Bistro On 4th - Fairbanks

This restaurant deserves to be featured on a TV show. I plan to revisit and add more details later, but visiting this place was a major highlight of our entire journey. Our trip took us through Fairbanks, Denali National Park, and even included a cruise from Anchorage to Vancouver. Truly, it offered the best food we had the whole time!

Delicious food—absolutely fantastic! I'm just waiting for the music to start. Definitely try the salmon. Downtown Fairbanks. So impressive!

We had been eager to try this restaurant for some time after spotting it on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives! Just when we were starting to lose hope of finding a great dinner spot in Fairbanks, we decided to give this place a shot—and we're so glad we did! Fortunately, we arrived before the dinner rush, so we didn’t have to wait long for a table or our food. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was simply fantastic! We brought our baby along and were pleased to find a quiet side room for some privacy. Overall, the atmosphere seemed lively and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal!

My boyfriend and I drove up from Anchorage for a birthday getaway and decided to try this restaurant because of the glowing reviews. When we arrived, we were greeted by a warm, inviting, and intimate atmosphere. Rico and another gentleman, whose name I unfortunately missed, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even lit a little candle for our table, which was a nice touch. The food was absolutely amazing—perfectly portioned and delicious! Unfortunately, we won’t be able to stay for the live music this weekend, but we will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

The food was absolutely delicious! However, I'm not sure it justified a nearly two-hour wait. Our group of four was seated right away, which was encouraging in this small restaurant, but we felt neglected by the staff for what seemed like an eternity. When we were finally attended to, we opted to place our food and drink orders at the same time since we’d already been waiting a while. Over an hour passed before our drinks arrived—just before our food was served. We were informed that the restaurant was short-staffed due to a missing chef, and while I understand the challenges of staffing issues, I hope they can hire more help and continue to deliver great food.
