Peach margaritas were fantastic! We ordered two of the Mother Lodes and split it between 4 people (2 adults, 2 young teens) and it was plenty of food. Salmon was everyone's favorite part. View all feedback.
What Thomas Hauck doesn't like about Alaska Salmon Bake:
My dining experience was quite interesting. Some of the side dishes were served cold, and the main courses lacked flavor. It wasn't terrible, but I feel it was only worth about half of what we paid. Additionally, the bus service for tourists has been discontinued. View all feedback.
We checked in at the entrance by providing our last name, and the staff promptly assisted us. They took our protein and dessert orders, shared important details about the evening, and directed us to where we could get drinks and salads. They even requested our mobile numbers so they could text us when our protein orders were ready—what a clever use of technology! After getting our salads, drinks, and cutlery, we proceeded to the dining room. The atmosphere was lively, with music from the 70s and 80s playing in the background, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. A large grilling station was in sight, where salmon and steaks were being cooked. Once we finished our salads, I received a text informing me that our protein was ready. We identified ourselves at the counter, where they plated our choices and asked what sides we wanted. The options included baked and roasted carrots or mac and cheese. After our selections were plated, we moved to the right, where the grill master added our protein to the plates! The whole process was both efficient and enjoyable, leaving everyone quite pleased. Lastly, for dessert, we visited a separate small building, checked in with our names, and had a choice of six or seven delicious options, including cheesecake and ice cream. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
The entrance to this restaurant is quite unique, as it is located through an old gold mine tunnel! Once inside, guests are greeted by a variety of food stalls and a spacious dining area. The food was truly delicious; we enjoyed a salmon and cod basket that were both excellent. They also offered the most amazing sangria. The only downside is that they are not open year-round and are closing for the season.

A fairbank tradition. lachs was very good. very family-friendly. also a area and special menu, for them fur babys. home parking.
Halibut Did not taste like Halibut, halibut was a see-through color and not the white of cooked Halibut. Maybe old? Frozen too long? No taste. Mac and cheese wasnt fresh and had been sitting too long, potatoes burned and no flavor. Now the desert( not poctured had been sitting uncovered WAY WAY too long. Completely dried out! The premixed drink was ok, wine was cheap and tasted like it sat out and soured. My first time here, ive lived here 11 years and im completely disappointed in the lack of pride in their food. NOT worth the huge amount we spent on our family of 10 to treat them!!
