Description
Brooklyn Bridge Park stretches along the DUMBO waterfront, offering sweeping views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan skyline and Statue of Liberty. Its landscaped lawns, pebble beach and plentiful seating make it ideal for picnics, photography, meditation and family outings; attractions include a carousel, playgrounds, sports courts, water play, seasonal programming and nearby restaurants and markets. Clean restrooms, easy ferry/train/bike access and evening events add appeal—parking is limited, so arrive by transit, bike or on foot.

This is a great place for walking and meditation. It’s definitely a touristy part of the city, but it isn’t crowded when you explore all the popular spots in Dumbo. If you're here on Saturday or Sunday, don’t miss the flea market—it’s definitely worth checking out. I really love this area and have seen it transform for the better over time. The added convenience of clean bathrooms nearby is a big plus. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing day! Make sure to visit!
What a fantastic way to spend the day! The park offers a wide variety of activities for everyone to enjoy. There are volleyball courts, football fields, playgrounds, a water park, ice cream shops, and shopping facilities. The bathrooms are abundant and well-maintained. Parking was simple, with metered spaces available for $2 per hour. Bring the family and have an amazing day in Brooklyn!
A beautiful place for families to spend time together. Beautiful restaurants nearby. Carousel was a nice touch. The mood was so different from the river in Manhattan. It was worth the ride. We took a ferry and a Uber back so we got the full experience.
I absolutely love visiting Brooklyn Bridge Park! While everyone enjoys snapping Instagram photos from DUMBO on Water Street, especially on Easter Sunday, I believe this park is the best. It offers stunning views of the bridge and the Statue of Liberty as you wander down. There's ample space to run or take your dog for a stroll. In the summer, there are evening workout classes and a variety of programming and events. Some of my favorite spots within the park are Pebble Beach and the carousel.
Nice park, good views from the river to lower Manhattan. Seems this downtown park might be a bit undiscovered. Not terribly busy. Bonus playground for those with young ones. You really don't want to drive here. Walk, train, ferry or bike are all realistic. Walking distance to the photogenic Washington street if that's your thing. Timeout indoor markets is also here which is fun and offers rooftop views over the river.
