What James G doesn't like about Perfect Pita:
I ordered a couple of pita sandwiches on grubhub and it was horrid. I'm not sure if they simply do not know how to package a sandwich for delivery (I would have had to assemble my own from the included ingredients which is nuts with a pita). perhaps dining in this restaurant is a wonderful experience. I told him what I was looking for and he said he had everything for me in my budget for the next day. When I arrived, I parked on the street. I walked in and told a man I picked up. The man who took my order came to the price he told me and thanked me. I went and left the meal and then ate mine. I got the Falafel plate and it was delicious and filled. No bad experience.
This place is amazing! Hands down some of the best food I ever had. I'm a professional cook and very picky and I never had anything from there that I didn't love. People there are beautiful and sweet. I don't even live in NJ anymore, but whenever I'm home, my husband and I make it a point to stop there and get a chicken chawarma. My sister even had her bridal shower there before they closed the spare room because of COVID and everybody saved over the food. Love this place so much!
The best I had was the Shawarma. I also had some beautiful eggplants and beef cigars, and acceptable hummus and falafel.
Great food. The staff was a little shorthanded, though he did his best to get us in and out during lunchtime.
Literally feels like you are in Israel!!! The Schwarma is fantastic and the ambiance is authentically Israeli!!! Highly recommend!!!
