Each year when we spend our time in VT this is our first night/last night dinner treat. I had a lamb shank that was so delicious and fell of the bone. Fish is always wonderful. Lovely wine list. The salad is fresh from the garden. Not sure who is saying the portions are small; I couldn't finish! Always worth a drive to Fair Haven Inn! View all feedback.
What Estrela Xavier doesn't like about Fair Haven Inn:
The food is good but the portions are very small. If it's a working man with a healthy appetite he needs to order two dinners. The prices are outrageous for the fact that the portions are for toddlers. View all feedback.
I'm eager to go back and indulge in the lamb—it's absolutely top-notch. The owner and host are fantastic as well!
Every year, during our time in Vermont, we make it a tradition to have our first and last dinner at this restaurant. I enjoyed a lamb shank that was absolutely delightful and tender enough to fall off the bone. The fish is consistently excellent, and they have a lovely selection of wines. The salad is freshly sourced from the local garden. I'm not sure who says the portions are small; I couldn't finish my meal! It's always worth the drive to Fair Haven Inn!
The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the food was fantastic! Though I'm not from the area, I'm definitely planning to return!
Such a special find at the end of a long driving day. Such kind and helpful service, delicious food. Overall a highlight of our trip .
