When visiting my friend in Faenza, this beautiful restaurant is a must every time. We went at 2.40pm straight from the airport but unfortunately the kitchen had... read more When visiting my friend in Faenza, this beautiful restaurant is a must every time. We went at 2.40pm straight from the airport but unfortunately the kitchen had closed but the owner was very pleasant and apologetic. We then saved the treat for a few days later in the evening, again, we had not booked and although they were extremely busy as a band was scheduled later on, a table was found for us. I had the entrecôte steak and my friend had the sliced beef with thyme oil. Mmmmmmm. All the staff are exceedingly knowledgeable and happily accommodate speaking English to us (rare in Italy). There is usually a bit of a wait for the food but it's definitely worth it. Sadly we could not stay late but the band was an added bonus for us although I would suggest checking what nights live music is on as it was quite loud and may not have been to everyone's taste.
