We spent a sensational evening there over the weekend. Premium place, beautiful environment.
We were welcomed by a cozy restaurant with a really nice design and show kitchen. The waiter named János served us beautifully presented meals with exceptional attention, which were without exception tasty and enjoyable. My personal favorites were the chicken soup reminiscent of my childhood, the smoked trout, and the wonderfully served bird's milk, which was surpassed only by the chestnut puree reimagined with cherries. The part of the beach behind the restaurant is cozy, the rooms, true to their fantasy name and with a pleasant design, provide a really calm environment for relaxation, which is made really relaxing by the smell of the Danube. Donautica surprised me. We really appreciate the experience. I strongly recommend it.
The hotel is quite nice, that 's not why I 'm writing the few stars (no dirt or anything like that). However, compared to: 1. the end of the world the edge of the village is behind God 's back, 2. the food can 't even be called a mediocre meal (meat soup made from soup cubes, grilled cheese dripping in oil, fish soaked, I left the coffee there even after half a sip, it was undrinkable), 3. the garden is not bad, but don 't expect a big bang, only there is well kept grass compared to these, the fact that they charged 19,000 plus VAT for the inedible lunch, and that a room for two on a random off season rainy Tuesday in September costs 110,000 is quite strong. This is how much a luxury hotel with a fantastic restaurant costs. Here, however, there is no Sulimenza level, and the hotel is in the not bad, but thanks, we 'd rather drive you home today category. I don 't recommend it, it 's not worth it at all. Food drinks: Horrible
