Pastarte - Facatativá

Wow, If you find yourself in Bogota, you have to make the trip out to this restaurant. Earlier this year I was in Rome and had great Italian food. At Restaurante Pastarte I had an equivalent experience. I know you don't come to Bogota, Colombia to have Italian, but this place truly felt like a family owned restaurant in Italy. Everything is home made including the pasta and tomatoes sauce which made the experience even better. I loved the home dining ambience with jazz music playing. It really made me love this place. In addition I'm originally from the Bronx where we have plenty of authentic Italian family owned restaurants and this one was surprisingly up to par.

Happy to have stopped in this big restaurant. The food was simple, but delicious. The staff was very attentive and service-oriented.
