Skovlyst - Faaborg-Midtfyn

We went with friends who had heard it was good. We were not disappointed. We used to go regularly ten years ago and we forgot about it. It is still as good as it was. We had a set menu, Granada lax, beef fillet and ice cream cake with 100 year old cognac. It was a Sunday evening in March, so not many there. The waiter was very attentive and the food was delicious. We will definitely return soon.

The surroundings and the view from the restaurant are just amazing. We had ordered table 3 weeks in advance and had an eye on the fried red placket on the menu. The agreement with Peter who drives this lovely place was that I had to call a couple of days before to ensure that fresh red sticks were. I forgot, but Peter called some hours before we had to arrive to tell that there was fresh red nights and we got one of the top 5 best experiences on both the food side and the service which was just top. Good stories and friendly and professional restauradry. We come again and recommend all a trip to the place also to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Thank you Peter.
