What User doesn't like about Falsled Kro:
We had been looking forward to a stay at Falsled Kro, but the sealings were not completely met. The rooms of the crab are fine and mistakes nothing, nice with a refreshment of the room while eating. The problem is unfortunately in the restaurant since we didn't feel that the kitchen and wait when the different servings should happen. We visited Falsled Kro 15 years ago and decided it was time to re live the experience. We arrived at 18:30 and told the waiter that we had to leave at 22:30. He assured us that it would not be a problem. We had an extremely nice evening. Everything was just top of the class ... except that we had to skip the dessert. Even though we at 21:00 once again told the waiter that a car would pick us up at 22:30. Again we were told that it would not be a problem. 22:25 we left our table telling the waiter that we didn't have time for dessert. A really disappointing ending to a perfect evening. Both food and wine were fantastic. Well, except for the missing dessert :
Second to none. SUPER food and wine (check out the wine list for special offers). We had a 6 course menu which was superb in all aspects superb quality, taste and presentation. We had very high expectations coming to Falsled Kro and we were not disappointed au contraire. The service was professional but same time friendly and joyful with time for a chat about the history of the place etc etc. The Kro is restored in a beautiful and calm way making you feel totally relaxed.
Breakfast was slow bad and not to many options really dissapointed service bad for breakfast 50 min waiting for a micro egg with a micro sousage small portion of fruit and didnt gave to much info i am happy that i am not vegetarian other wise there was not chance to have breakfast really really bad breakfast
My better half and myself visited the place and what an experience! The service was magnificent but the food and wine pairing was out of this world. Really top notch in my book ! Not cheap but absolutely worth it.
Allthough the starter and the first first course was 'nt exactly our taste; the quality is so high. So convincing. A glas of champagne before dinner (in front of the fireplace) and wine and 8 course dinner ended by a cup of coffee (again in front of the fireplace) is a very nice way of spending a saturday night evening. With your loved one(s).
