On a busy night we had a great $27 parcel based upon Spanish mackerel. All inclusions were nicely cooked, superbly warm and very yummy. The waitress explained we had to wait a while and her time estimate was spot on - her ability to explain the wait, give you options if you wanted something quicker and her bright personality helped to make the whole dining experience very enjoyable! What User doesn't like about Blue Lips Fish & Chips:
Very disappointed with the fish and chips from blue lips. The fish was over cooked (to the extent it had turned to rubber) and the batter to thick. The chips were also cooked in old oil. We also thought the chips were massively over priced for what we received. Over $25/pp for crappy fish and chips. View all feedback.
The best fish and chips in WA imo! Just because the fishbatter was not fat or excessively thick was just perfect crunchy factor! The reason I gave 4/5 stars...
Nobody did this! Let me just say half serve (size) fish and chips was EXCELLENT! I can't imagine trying a full-size share.
Not only did I get great fish and chips... I also have a great service. I have a wheat intolerance and that's why broken fish is from the question. I...
I visited this restaurant from Perth and had to leave a review. The fish and chips were fantastic! The gentleman with glasses really brightened our night with his upbeat attitude and excellent manners. The service was top-notch, and we found it perfect for a takeout dinner. The price per person ranged from A$60–80. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5-star rating.
Thank you so much, Blue Lipsters, for a fantastic meal of fish and chips. The fish, the chips, and potato cakes were all excellent, and the service from the well-spoken young lady was top-notch. We had a takeout dinner, and the price per person was between A$20-40. The food and service both receive a 5-star rating from us. We highly recommend trying the Spanish Mackerel dish.
