I am never disappointed when I return from Iain's restaurant. He always chooses the perfect wine for my meal and budget.
I called smiths weine to order a few bottles for the delivery (currently Covid-19 lock-off.) iain was very well known about the great selection to wein available and a fantastic selection of quality wine was delivered within a few hours. I can't be happier!
I took my boyfriend here for dinner from recommendation. And so glad I did. First of all the grounds were beautiful and so was bovey castle. Staff were welcoming. Food was lovely and enough on plate. Glad we dressed up (although didn't have to) but...thought nice too as it was a beautiful place. We stayed on for cocktails and drinks (although very pricey). We were lucky enough to get a night porter to take us back in a very nice land river as no taxi available. Would love to come back
Had a great night here with old friends. Was served up some seriously good roast pork with an excellent wine selection at your fingertips. Highly recommend.
Iain Smith is an excellent fellow, a wonderful host, He knows his wines, he cooks a mean roast. Great food, great wine, what’s there to lose, His anecdotes are lively and sure to amuse. Bring all your friends, book up an evening, You’ll learn about...wine and leave with a grin. I’ve been many times, I’ve never left sober, I think I’ll go again, over and over.
