Monet's in Exeter, CA, is a charming restaurant known for its delightful ambiance and attentive service. Diners rave about the excellent wine selection and beautifully presented dishes, such as the beloved lavender Brie and flank steak. While many experiences are positive, some patrons have encountered concerns, including inconsistent food quality and a surcharge for card payments. Dining outdoors has also raised issues with flies and unappetizing frozen vegetables. Despite these discrepancies, the warm atmosphere and thoughtful staff continue to attract loyal customers who appreciate the restaurant's elegance and commitment to quality. A mixed bag, but worth a visit nonetheless.

I am very disappointing both in restaurant and especially open table to not update their database. this restaurant no longer used open table, but I received all confirmations from open table for my reservation and drove with all follow-up emails as well. I booked here for my birthday and was very disappointed that the restaurant did not have my reservation. table I will not use them for my future retention, as they have lost all credibility!

It was the 25-year anniversary of my and my wife. While we had travel plans in the following week, we wanted to do something to celebrate the day. the place is small but picturesque. it captures a French bistro feeling in central California. eating while not traditional French is good, but expensive for a small town. a singer in English and French that added a certain amount of charm. plate release was no problem and parts were good. the most delightful part was our waitress. she was very sweet and helpful. she wasn't floating, but when we needed her. she offered us our dessert free because of our jubilee (very thoughtful). they also offered our cappuccinos free of charge because they had to be made with sawn (they had fled from milk and offered to my wife a free glass of wine where she was braided (it was very good. we could eat for 2 hours, listen to music and look into the eyes of others. while eating wasn't the best thing I ever had, the memory of the entire experience is one I'll appreciate.

Monet's is a very quaint and delightful bistro. My favorite kind. To find this restaurant in an out of way charming little town in Exeter east of Visalia was very surprising. We would have never known of it's existence if not recommended to us from the bed and breakfast we stayed in Lemon Cove, a mere 8 miles away. We had a small dinner because, being on vacation, we had been eating all day. So we ate light. I had the french onion soup and a garden salad with a ceasar dressing. Both were very good. My husband had a pizza which was served like individual crostini on a platter. It was very nicely presented. The ambiance of the bistro is very pleasing to the eye. During our meal, we were entertained by a guitarist/singer who added to the overall experience. All in all it was a fun evening. I only wished we were hungrier.

Great little wine bar. Nice wine and food choices. Wished we were more hungry when we went. The lavender brie appetizer is delightful as was the crème brûlée. We would definitely be regulars if we lived near this little gem.

By far the best European restaurant I’ve eaten at in the US. And that’s coming from a European.
