Lovely atmosphere, knowledgeable staff. Lots of choice on menus, bar, snacks and al a carte. Very good expresso martini's! Photos of some starters.... prawn cocktail, chicken liver parfait and scotch egg... all amazing x
Wonderful place to eat ...a lovely relaxing cozy and civilised atmosphere along with beautifully cooked food and fine wine. Excellent service and great menu ..Good old fashioned classy dining ..Lovely decor Great wall pictures) . A real treat , loved everything about it ..Look forward to returning on my return to Devon.
We went here for a birthday party and we were impressed. The tasty menu gives a real spread of delicious delicacies. At first we were a little disappointed that the portions were really 'keys', but as we got through them, including a free velout we actually got quite full. In any case ready to return in the future. Oh the otter was beautiful and the service friendly and attentive with a truly relaxing atmosphere
Absolutely amazing food. On the slightly pricy side, but definitely value for money as the food was top notch. I don't think the menu descriptions do food justice. Portions were so that I was able to start a starter, main (plaice two ways with saffron mayo and sauteed laeks, a special feature of the day, and dessert (chocolate tart and do not feel uncomfortable after (but definitely wanted no more food! . There was even a free soup flavor (caramelized cauliflower soup with roasted sesame seeds, so nicely started Besides, the music was absolutely fantastic! The service was very good.
Beautiful Sunday lunch you can not beat there roast beef cooked to perfection
