They make a spectacular dessert wine and a very interesting red wine project, where the bottles are aged under water in the large reservoir just east from there on the Spanish border. It was great to be able to taste the conventionally aged red wine and then the red wine under water. There was a very remarkable difference.

We went... read more We visited for wine tasting and a picnic. The tour and wine tasting was very informative and fun. We have tried a variety of wines that we all enjoyed. We went to the picnic in the vineyard. The picnic bag included everything you needed and the food was delicious. We also loved the donkey, super friendly and cute. Only slight negatives were that sparkling wine was not included in the picnic (we bought it so easy to solve) and the picnic spot was not as scenic as I liked it. However, we had a great day in Ervideira and would highly recommend!

But what it really made... read more Amazing wine tasting experience. We were happy enough to taste the whole range of wines served with a good selection of regional dishes. But what it really made to 5 stars was the amazing experience of Ana. A very great thank you for the exciting experience and interaction. Learned many new things and was really close. Surely recommended and a return is in the plans.

The t... read more Ervideira is a at least 5 generation winemaking vineyard. Their wines are VERY highly regarded by local, long time residents. I completely understand why. The tasting displayed 7 wines, all superb. The Cheese Charcuterie accompaning this is excellent. Guillermo, my young host, was very knowledgeable about the wines and very passionate about the region. Very affordable tasting and bottles To Go !!
