Café Alentejo - Évora

There is not a lot of options on their menu, I chose the vegetable soup and two side dishes. It was Friday night, it was pretty crowded and we waited almost 1 hour to get three vegetable soup. It was good but what took so long ?! The side dishes (roasted potatoes and wild mushrooms) were good too, especially the mushrooms, but again lots of waiting time to get these. The potatoes had a sauce which I feel tasted a bit like meat at the end of my meal. The staff couldn't tell me if it was vegan or not.

Ein sehr gemütliches Restaurant. Es gibt vegetarische Salate und Suppen und ein vegetarisches Gericht, bei dem man die Eier weglassen kann. Zum Nachtisch gibt es Früchte. Die Speisekarte ist in englisch und französisch, das Personal spricht englisch.

There are not many options on their menu, I have chosen the cute soup and two next dishes. it was Friday night, it was pretty crowded and we waited almost 1 hour to get three nice soup. it was good, but what took so long?! also the beside dishes (roasted kartoffels and wild mushrooms) were good, especially the mushrooms, but again a lot of waiting time to get them. the carrots had a soak that I tasted a bit like meat at the end of my meal. the personal could not tell me if it was vegan or not.
