Description

This small-town diner offers comforting, homestyle meals — notable milkshakes and homemade coconut cream pie — plus vegetarian options, a kid’s menu and wheelchair-accessible main floor with free parking. Highlights include classic burgers and a well-executed chicken-fried steak; however, portion size, pricing and food consistency vary, with some items described as overcooked or processed. Service ranges from friendly to inattentive, and the lively, cozy space can be noisy. A worthwhile stop for casual diners seeking nostalgia, but expect occasional inconsistency.

This charming little local diner is fantastic! While the portions aren't large, they offer high-quality food that clearly is made with care. It's about a 20-minute drive from Bellingham, but definitely worth the trip. They have great vegetarian options like grilled cheese, veggie soups, and veggie burgers. There's a spacious free parking lot available, and the menu for kids comes with crayons to keep them entertained. The first floor is wheelchair accessible, making it easy to navigate around the diner.

Delicious burgers and Eggs Benedict! I indulge in one of each once a month. I highly recommend them!

To the guy who buys bacon for their dog. Do not eat! I was holding it in my hand when they took it back after messing up my order and they said they are planning on selling it to you. I assume you expect fresh bacon when you buy it and not leftovers from a random guy who was palming it.By the way the food was sub par at best. The sausage was the frozen kind you buy and microwave. You can tell by the grayish brown color it has.Staff does not listen at all and have attitudes when they mess up your order. They literally took the bacon out of my hand as my wife was saying we will pay for it and then was upset she ate a piece before they took it even with us wanting to keep it and paying for it.Then the waitress smirked when she said they didn't charge us for it. good job, you didn't charge us for something we didn't order.

Food was pretty average. Like an off brand Waffle House. Service was terrible, waitress doesn’t listen when you order, and when you tell her the order was wrong she gets an attitude and complains loudly to the cooks. We could hear them all complaining about us from our table, but they messed up our order? I had been in the industry for YEARS and never seen such horrible customer service. Pretty disappointed this place was such a let down as we’ve been looking for somewhere close for breakfast to have business meetings. Will not be back, absolutely appalled.

I've visited this restaurant a few times and have noticed that, similar to another place in Everson, the atmosphere feels unwelcoming. It seems that only those who fit in are treated kindly. I couldn't enjoy my meal because of the hostile stares I received. It's disheartening to encounter such negativity, especially when we should be reminded that God is love. We all fall short and, by grace, we are saved. As someone who loves Jesus, I felt uncomfortable with the unholy display of religious intolerance. I won't be coming back, and perhaps the staff should take time to truly understand the message of love found in the Bible before judging others.
