I think they are unfairly rated by Indians who are gatekeeping their national cuisine while here on vacation. What Saurav Shrestha doesn't like about Cuisine Of The Himalayas:
Worst nepali food in Colorado. They like to call it Biryani but it was merely a turmeric rice fried with capsicum and green peas. Our lips and teeth all stained yellow due to their overly used turmeric in food. We also ordered Chow Chow veggie but all that the plate had were capsicums and peas. I told our server to complain about it to chef but they told that its difficult to get a chef in that area so no complaints.... View all feedback.

Got there late (8:45pm) and they were understandably closing up. They still put their all into the dishes and served them with pride. And well they should! Dietary restrictions: Much of the menu includes dairy, but the korma used coconut cream and would be a welcome experience for anyone dairy intolerant!
