We were happy... read more My partner and I just got home from our 3rd time at Campfire. Our first visit when they first opened was amazing. Food and service was excellent. We were happy to leave knowing that this would be our go to spot when we were up in Evergreen. 2nd time we visited over the summer and were so short staffed that it took forever to get our food and drinks. The food was amazing and we chalked it up to just a random day of being short staffed. Today we just go home from our 3rd visit and we will never be back. The service was incredibly slow and we were told after we sat down that they were short staffed. We decided to be patient. We ordered the pastrami sandwich and chicken sandwich. The pastrami was almost inedible and was mostly thick cuts of fat. The bread was soggy, and the chicken sandwich was sub pare. Not to mention we paid over $40 for food that was just not good. I think this restaurant is on the downhill, sad to see because the location and space is wonderful.
