I moved here from North California after I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas. I tried so many Taquerias outside my home of the RGV and nobody seemed to get it right until Loma Bonita. I will definitely be here regularly when they have me, because that's the best I had left home. View all feedback.

It’s very much... ok. Salsa Verde (green) uses green food dye and the jalapenos taste old. Rice is nearly flavorless and the pieces are all broken whereas the chicken is overly salty. Chicken tastes like they added chicken stock powder to the chicken. There’s not much crema here at all — only lightly coated. Avocado wasn’t ripe and it was hard. This also wasn’t fully peeled. Mama and Pop Restaurant always feel welcome, food is authentic. Eat there for 2 years she supports during Covid, glad they are still here.
Amazing dishes! Chicken taco are always fresh! Fast service!
I came in for the first time and purchased a asada burrito and they hit me with a $15 price! Pretty high for just a burrito then when I start earing it it was mostly beans and rice with a little bit of meat. The meat was lacking flavor as was the hit sauce. : I was very disappointed and will not be going back only reason they got a 2 star is because it was a lot of beans and rice in the the burrito.
Delicious! They loved their tortah: had a toilet room and a water cooling station. Large salsa and unique decoration.
Excellent choice but be aware the chicken is marinated in chili peppers and jalapenos come in burritos by default. Add some amazing salsa and this is the spiciest Mexican experience I've had in this state; possibly on this coast. So good we eat here at least once a week!
