High Flying Espresso - Everett
High Flying Espresso
Description
This coffee shop is a delightful contradiction, attracting loyal patrons with its excellent brews and friendly staff, while also facing criticism for inconsistent service and pricing. Many customers rave about the quality of the coffee, particularly the rare white coffee and unique flavor combinations, which surpasses that of well-known chains. However, others lament the lengthy wait times and higher-than-expected charges for extra espresso shots. Despite occasional hiccups and mixed experiences, the warm atmosphere and commitment to customer satisfaction create a space that many are eager to return to, making it a beloved local gem worth visiting.

I ordered a 24oz iced white chocolate americano with 4 shots at this restaurant. Typically, the industry standard is to include 3 shots at no extra charge for that size drink, and most places include four shots in a 24oz Americano. However, this particular establishment only offers two shots for a 24oz drink, with additional shots costing extra. Interestingly, when ordering this drink online, it is priced at $6.75, but I was charged $7.95 for it in-person. This was the most expensive americano I have ever purchased, regardless of location.
Maria is an exceptional barista! She always greets me with a smile, remembers my order, and is incredibly friendly.
This is my go-to spot for my weekly coffee fix. Every time I visit, the staff knows my order, loves what they do, and truly care about making great drinks and ensuring customers leave feeling happy. I have a special bond with the two girls who work there and always enjoy pulling up knowing they will get my order just right. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area - everything is top-notch!
