We went on a Sunday after an event and within 5 min for our table of 5 people, the food was hot and ready! Dessert was great too! Crazy, maybe because they weren't super busy? Who knows but it was an enjoyable experience for me! : View all feedback.

What Domingo Herzog dislikes about El Paraiso Mexican Grill Everett:
We stopped by for lunch the other day. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food arrived quickly. It's pretty basic as far as flavor-wise, and we didn't have a wow factor for any of the foods we ordered. The free chips are served with a bean dip, which is not as typical at other places, but was really good. I usually go for the fajitas, but it was a bit more pricey than other restaurants, so I went with the ta... View all feedback.

I absolutely love this place! Very pleasantly surprised when I went here the first time. They give you some really delicious chips and salsa and bean dip right as you get seated. I got the Carne Asada (just the plate), and it was delicious. It was also plenty, and I had leftovers. The service is quick and nice, too! This place is pretty high on my favorites for Mexican restaurants. Would definitely recommend

Easily one of the best Mexican small chain restaurants I've ever eaten in. The downtown Everett location is small, but cozy. Staff are beyond excellent almost every time. Fresh tortilla lady at the entrance, which is just a really nice bonus.

I'll start with the good. When I arrived I was greeted with a homestyle tortilla that reminded me of how my Grandpa used to make them. Completely exquisite with choice of butter and/or hot sauce. I went traditional with butter as my grandpa used to do andit was delightful. That was the best part of the whole experience here though. I brought my wife here and all of my life I'vealways heard great things of this place. My sister used to know the owners of the one in Snohomish and would praise its food soI presumed it would be great authentic Mexican food. In my honest opinion its flavor was on par with maybe taco bell and I hatesaying that but realistically its menu had no depth. I ordered a simple combination dish, an enchilada and burrito and the onlything that separated the two was the tortilla... The enchilada had corn and the burrito had flour. Both I ordered with groundbeef and that was all that was in the 2 of them, just beef. Maybe I'm spoiled to assume that a burrito should have more in itthan that, but I always expect there to be beans, rice, salsa cheese or something to be in the dish. Needless to say the foodwas less than average and the portion was tiny. I'm not some big fat guy either that is complaining I didnt get a half a cow forthe price of a burger... I'm about a buck fifty and spent $60 on 2 meals and 2 sodas and left absolutely hungry to where I wenthome and made true authentic Mexican food that had rice and beans and meat in my own burrito. All of that negativity being said, the people are nice and the atmosphere friendly so dont let my review stop you from trying it out. Like I said the lady thatmade the tortillas at the door will make you feel welcome and I thank her because without her this would've been a one starreview. But she brought back a piece of my memory of my grandpa Nieves Rubio and it made the whole experience that much better. They also have a happy hour I didnt try and I've heard the margaritas are great so maybe try

Coming from Mexico I usually have big expectations when it comes to Mexican food. This place exceeded those expectations and we were treated with great customer service. While waiting to be seated there is a super sweet lady making hand made tortillas whooffered us some with some homemade salsa. When the food arrived presentation was great and food was very tasty and very close tothe actual Mexican taste. Also portions are huge so you really get what you paid for. Our waiter was also awesome and verytentative to us. She never let our drinks get empty and was very professional. Next time i come back to WA i will definitelystop by again. So if you looking for authentic Mexican food this is the place to go.
