If you love amazing food, generous portions and wonderful service, you will love Mama’s Cafe’. This beautiful family started working together. We found this place by chance a month ago and come here every chance we get. We live 30 minutes away and it is worth the ride. LOVE LOVE Mexican food. Grew up on it. Today I stopped in to try the food as it showed grand opening. I’ve NEVER had enchiladas like this. Had a taste like they used the whole container of power and no taste of pork or anything in the sauce. The rice came out partial white as if it was covered lastly with tomato sauce. An excellent Mexican restaurant in the north of Everett! I had chicken enchiladas suisa, and my friend had Chili Verde. Both dishes were very tasteful without being super salty. We have eaten almost all Mexican restaurants and this place is our new Fave.
My experience overall at Mama's Cafe was awesome the food tasted great and they had great service. And of course, I would recommend as an authentic Mexican restaurant. Had tacos of a asada and tongue, and also had their volcano tacos which were awesome they taste great with a great flavor

Looks like this place is closed now too. Sign says under new management “Mama’s Cafe.” Hopefully Mama knows how to cook up some good grub 'cause Grandma ain’t been doing much!!! Edit: Just tried the food here. I was pretty good. Service was bad. They didn 't have me sign a receipt so I was unable to leave a tip. Togo boxes were too small for the portion size and they don 't sell beer!!! How are you gonna have tacos with no beer? So just a few upgrades and this place might make it.
Food was delicious and fairly priced. Hubby and I were the only ones there and it was lovely to have the place to ourselves. Amazing staff and such a sweet owner. Was our first time and is now our new favorite restaurant here in Everett. The deluxe taco salad was amazing and hands down best sour cream I have ever had. Highly recommended!
