Delicious carne asada with eggs and hash browns. Carne asada was so tender and perfectly seasoned. Glad I stopped by. Burritos seem popular I saw a guy ordering them to go for his whole crew. View all feedback.
What Vladimir Nemirovsky doesn't like about La Ruleta Mexican:
The place definitely needs a bit of an upgrade. Every piece of furniture is old. Restroom was probably remodeled back in the 70s. The quality of the food was good and prices are about what you'd expect. Service was on a slow side. 10 minutes to get the drinks and almost 40 minutes to get food. The waitress did apologize for the slow service, but it was slow nevertheless. View all feedback.
Ordered a burrito suzio with red sauce for takeout, was expecting it to be around $15 with rice and beans. Got there to pick up my order and they put the wrong sauce, BUT acknowledged so and offered to remake it on the spot. I unfortunately didn't have the time to wait for a remake, but the two people I spoke to were very nice about it and said they'd make good on it next time. It was also a little more than I was expecting based on the picture of the menu online $20 instead of $14) but I also got unlisted chips/salsa/soup with it too so I feel a little mixed about that. Maybe I forgot to specify the lunch special either way it's a VERY, VERY generous amount of food for that price. Just found it funny I couldn't anticipate anything about my first impression at a place called La Ruleta, but it was good nonetheless. I'd try it again.
This place is an amazing! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was very friendly and quick. Our margaritas came in these cute handmade cups, my meal came in a handmade bowl. I actually purchased one of the handmade cups! Beautiful atmosphere, artwork and amazing food!
Very clean and welcoming restaurant the food is delicious and there are unique items on the menu as well like the Birria Ramen which are worth trying as well! Grab a margarita and enjoy the chips and salsa [some of the best salsa I've had] while you're there!
In the old Skipper's building. Good food and friendly service. Steak Tacos, Birria Plate, with rice and beans. Choice of soup or salad. Start with salsa and chips.
Was fairly slow when we went in. Great food and our server was fantastic!
