The food was delicious, but the service and atmosphere left much to be desired. Improving the ambiance is challenging since Sei Bar is quite small. It's clean and organized, but when it's busy, the space feels really cramped—definitely uncomfortable if you're prone to claustrophobia. The service, on the other hand, needs significant improvement. The server displayed a lot of attitude despite her small size. It felt like she was bothered to have customers. I overheard other diners expressing similar frustrations. To top it off, she rushed us through our meal. Honestly, we considered leaving, but it felt wasteful to throw away food that was already prepared. The one redeeming factor was the chef and his cooking. He was warm and friendly, and though his accent was a bit hard to understand, his smile and laughter made a positive impression. I had the $19 chicken don, which came with miso soup and vegetables. My friend ordered the caterpillar maki, customized to accommodate dietary restrictions.

Tonight, my problem is with the delivery and management. I placed an order, paid for delivery and a tip, and was promised it would arrive within an hour. I also selected the option for the driver to ring the doorbell, and they've always called me upon delivery before. However, tonight, after waiting an hour and 20 minutes, I called only to be told my order was delivered over 30 minutes earlier—no doorbell, no call. The food arrived ice cold. I requested a refund, but they told me I’d have to go through my credit card company and that they would come to pick up the food. Still, they refused to refund me. This is crazy! Keep your cold food. I will never order from here again!

Food was made with very fresh and high quality ingredients. Portions were good and well spiced.
