What Cindy Trent doesn't like about Vietnamese Cuisine:
I visited this restaurant about a year ago and absolutely loved it. However, I went back tonight and was very disappointed. The spring rolls I had last time were amazing, but tonight they were not up to par. Instead of fresh vegetables, they seemed to contain turkey and rice noodles. The peanut sauce was watered down to the point of being tasteless. I also ordered the seafood rice, which was overcooked. To the owners... View all feedback.
I was very pleased to learn about their many vegan options. Our server was very forthright about the ingredients, down to the broth, which eliminated the guesswork I often have to do when dining out. What's more is that everything was fresh and delicious. Hubs and I will be back!
One of my favorite places in town. Excellent food and very fresh. Great staff. This restaurant has been here about 10 years, and is family owned. It 's the only authentic Vietnamese restaurant in town and the food is out of this world good! Vietnamese cuisine is known for the use of fresh ingredients, minimal to no oils or dairy products, and liberal use of herbs, spices and aromatics. The two most well known dishes are the Banh Mi sandwich with its crusty French baguette, and the Pho soup (pronounced fuh, like 'fun ' without the 'n ' . Vietnamese cuisine always has the combination and balance between fragrance, taste, and color. The recipes commonly include lemongrass, ginger, mint, bird 's eye chili, lime, and Thai basil. We had: Gui Con fresh sticky Spring Rolls with peanut sauce Banh Mi with pork Com heo, ga Ua Tom Nu ong – chargrilled lemongrass pork, chicken and shrimp with rice Bun Ga tom Cha gio – noodles with chicken and eggroll Pho Dac Biet – beef noodle soup with brisket, meatball and ribeye
I was contracting in Maine for 7 months and the pho out there was decent and more costly... The pho offering at Vietnamese cuisine is a great deal for a hearty, soul warming, bowl of greatness. I drive 1.5 hours just to get my fix here
I have been going here since I was young and grew up loving pho . I’ve been to other Pho places in bigger cities and nothing compares to this authentic, well prepared delicious pho here at Vietnamese Cuisine. Highly recommend you try this place and you will fall in love
I absolutely love this place and I'm originally from Chicago, where there's a whole Vietnamese neighborhood so I've had my fair share of pho. I've also worked at a Vietnamese restaurant for two years so I know good pho. This place has got it! I don't add any sauces to the pho here because it is perfect
