Let’s start by saying I normally love Frontier. The appetizers were fantastic. However, we were a party of 5. My food came out about 10 minutes before the others. Then 2 more were served and then probably another 5 minutes before the other 2 were served. I was there a couple of weeks ago on a Friday, the place was packed and the whole evening was great. Tonight was a Saturday and surprisingly they weren’t that busy.... View all feedback.
What Martin Cabela doesn't like about New Frontier Restaurant & Bar:
Be hard to find a bigger chicken sandwich than they serve at the Frontier Restaurant. Took half home. The house chips were bland without BBQ sauce. Crowded on a Monday for lunch. Coke products. View all feedback.
Tonight was a Saturday and surprisingly they weren’t that busy. Our waitress told us she had only been there a couple of weeks and I don’t really think she was the issue. I think it was from the kitchen. I will definitely go back, but hopefully they will have worked out the kitchen issues.
Our family dined at the Frontier the other night. When I go to a restaurant and it is standing room only, that usually indicates the food is great. Happy to say I was right. I had the Prime Rib, the best I have tasted in the area despite what other restaurants may advertise. The serving was substantial as well. My husband opted for the fried chicken, he said it was tender, not dry at all, and not greasy. It was well seasoned. The grand kids had 1/2 lb cheeseburgers, the sandwiches were large, and the kids said they were 'awesome ' Our server was attentive and polite. We were informed before being seated, that due to the volume of customers that our wait for food would be a bit longer than usual. As a cook, I understand, also hand prepared food takes longer, if you want fast food, or slop poured out of a container, then this is not the place for you! Was definitely worth the extra wait. Plan to come back again, soon!
I love a good prime rib and this place did not disappoint. Cooked to perfection and complimented with baked potato and small salad. The prime rib is was delicious. I decide not to have an appetizer so I would have room for the meal but will try next time. Our server, Jessica was prompt and attentive. Definately worth a well earned tip. I stayed after dinner and enjoyed the DJ. He was very entertaining.I left before the fun started will plan to stay later next time I
We eat here on a regular basis. We ESPECIALLY love coming when Seth is working in the bar. He makes sure everyone is happy and having a good time. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Plenty of TV’s in the bar to watch games. The food is great and highly recommend the Fried mushrooms as an appetizer. We love these local gems! Great bar atmosphere!
This restaurant is a great place to get a steak for an amazing price, far out weighing the nearby Hornets Nest which is way over priced with average food... The Frontier has a nice bar area or a place to sit and eat in a family style dining room. The steaks here are flavorful and boast being fried or grilled. They have great house salads as well as several other side dishes. Check out their menu online for more choices before you head in to eat!! Like this post below!!! vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv
