Great Harvest Bread Co. - Evansville

The bread is always interesting and usually delicious. Since they give patterns before you make a choice, there is no reason not to love your purchase.

I was excited to see this store open again and visited several times Unfortunately the hours have changed and they are no longer open on Saturdays. I work Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm so I am unable to purchase my breads and sweets here. A suggestion would be to stay open one or two evenings until 6pm to allow people to pick up prepaid orders. I?m hoping these hours can be expanded but until then I will not be able to visit this store or redeem my freebies

Went in today to check out the new sandwich shop with new ownership. First impression would be a 2 star mainly due to the fact that while ordering with one associate the panini operator told her to tell me that hot sandwiches aren't available after 2pm. It was 2:05pm....they close at 5pm. I noticed a previous reviewer here on Google stated they were told they don't turn on a slicer till 1pm...LOL! So I ordered my sandwich cold... Also, I expected to see baked goods under the counter...zero. Hope this improves.

Mixed experience so far since new owners. The cheddar garlic bread was wonderful. Our favorites, dakota and cranberry orange were both smaller and extremely dense, very disappointing. They were not sliced or packaged at 12:30. We were told they don't slice until 1pm. We had to ask twice if they would slice and bag for us, which they finally did. Staff seems somewhat apathetic. We are hoping we hit a bad day or these are kinks that will get worked out regarding quality.

Loved it the cheddar garlic is so good. Staff is super friendly. All handmade breads and bake goods.
